Description
One-of-a-kind Wirework pendant, made by Auburn Rogue (my art/fashion business - coming soon to ETSY!)
Constructed with a deep blue moonstone cabochon and polished nickel/silver wire. The cabochon is set in a base of square wire and decorated by twisted free-form leaves. The upper half of the cabochon setting is embellished with crystals and elegant loops of silver. The chain dangles hang from each of the ivy leaves, and glisten delightfully when they catch the light. This medium-sized pendant is strung upon a short necklace comprised of iridescent blue beads.
This was my morning project. I've been beading for almost ten years and I've always loved wirework; next to soutache it is my favourite beading technique. I made this pendant in a few hours today, as a special gift for the wonderful

That's a beautiful piece. I love moonstone although I usually work with the lighter shades, have a couple of nice cat's eyes in my collection waiting to be turned into something. Very nice and I'll have to watch out for you at craft shows.
